GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 and 3 in not providing police protection to the petitioner and his family members from the hands of the respondents 4 to 7 illegal, arbitra, and violations of article 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution India and consequently direct the respondents 2 and 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner.” 2. Sri P.Narasimhulu, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, let there be a direction to the Police to provide police protection to the Petitioner. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the complaint given by the Petitioner, a case in Crime No.12 of 2022 on the file of C.Belgal Police Station, Kurnool District for the offences under Section 324 read with 34 IPC has been registered against the unofficial Respondents and the Police cannot provide any police protection unless there is a direction from the Court. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedies before appropriate forum. There shall be no order as to costs.
