...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a direction or order, more particularly, one in the nature of writ of Mandamus, i. Declare the action of the Respondents in not extending police protection to the Petitioners to safeguard their lawful possession and cultivation of agricultural lands covered under Sy.No. 8/1 of Village, NTR Krishna District, to an extent of Ac. 2-91 cents of the 1st Petitioner, Ac.2-385 cents of 2nd and 3rd Petitioners illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 21 and 300A of Constitution of India, and contrary to the duties enjoined upon the Respondents under law. ii. Consequently direct Respondent No.4 and 5 to provide necessary Police Protection to the Petitioners for safeguarding their possession, enjoyment and cultivation of the subject lands and to prevent any interference or encroachments or acts of trespass by anti-social elements or unauthorized persons, iii.
And pass IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the Respondents No.4 and 5 to extend police protection to the Petitioners for safeguarding their possession and cultivation of the agricultural lands covered under Sy.No.8/1 of Kanchikacherla Village, NTR Krishna District, to prevent interference or encroachment by anti-social elements or unauthorized persons, pending disposal of the above Writ Petition and pass Counsel for the Petitioner(S):

THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 30335 of 2025 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…to issue a direction or order, more particularly, one in the nature of writ of Mandamus, i. Declare the action of the Respondents in not extending police protection to the Petitioners to safeguard their lawful possession and cultivation of agricultural lands covered under Sy.No.8/1 of Village, NTR Krishna District, to an extent of Ac. 2-91 cents of the 1st Petitioner, Ac.2-385 cents of 2nd and 3rd Petitioners illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 21 and 300A of Constitution of India, and contrary to the duties enjoined upon the Respondents under law. ii. Heard Sri P.G.Naidu, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Sri N.Bharat Babu, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the official respondents. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the respondent-police have not received any representation from the petitioner seeking any police protection. 4. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners would submit that the police are not receiving the representation of the petitioners.
He would further submit

that the petition may be disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to submit their representation to the police. 5. Considering the submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioners are at liberty to submit a fresh representation and on receipt of such representation, the police are directed to act according to Governing Rules and Law. There shall be no order as to costs.
