For the Opp. Party : Mr. Sudharshan Singh, Adv. Order No.10/Dated- 06th November, 2025 1. Heard the parties. 2. Instant transfer petition has been preferred for transfer of Original Maintenance No. 170 of 2024 filed under Section 125 of the Criminal Procedure Code, from the learned Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Dhanbad to the learned court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Chaibasa, Paschim Singhbhum. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that marriage of the petitioner with opposite party was solemnized on 21.11.2011 according to Hindu Rites and customs at Ara (Bihar). Out of the wedlock of the petitioner and opposite party, the petitioner has been blessed with two sons namely Abhinav aged about 12 years and Adhvik aged about 08 years. After the marriage, the family members of the petitioner started torturing continuously for additional demand of dowry and thrown out the petitioner from the house on 13.04.2018. Now, the petitioner is living in a rented house with her two minor sons and has no source of income to appear in the courts' proceeding due to the distance from Dhanbad to Chaibasa. Hence, Original Maintenance No. 170 of 2024 which is pending before the Court of learned Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Dhanbad 2025:JHHC:33169 may be transferred to learned Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Chaibasa, Paschim Singhbhum. 4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the opposite party has opposed the aforesaid prayer made by the petitioner. 5. Considering the contentions raised on behalf of the petitioner, I feel inclined, in the ends of justice, to allow the prayer of the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, Original Maintenance No. 170 of 2024 which is pending before the learned Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Dhanbad, is hereby transferred to the learned Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Chaibasa, Paschim Singhbhum. 7. Accordingly, the present transfer petition is allowed. (Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, J.) Date:- 06.11.2025 Amar/- Uploaded.
