The petitioner has been made accused in connection with C.I.D. P.S. Case No. 06 of 2024 (N.D.P.S. Case No.62 of 2024), for the offences registered under Sections 15, 18, 22, 27, 27(A), 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVIII- cum-Special Judge, C.I.D., Ranchi. On 06.01.2024, C.I.D. team of Lohardaga incepted a truck bearing registration No.PB-11CB-5370 and on search,1491.45 Kgs. of doda were recovered from the said vehicle. It was submitted that the petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired in confession of co- accused. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVIII-cum-Special Judge, C.I.D., Ranchi, in connection with C.I.D.
