Consequently, the case was adjourned to 10.09.2025 for “orders”. On that day, the matter was further adjourned to today’s date. When the matter was called, there was no representation for the petitioner. 2. On the other hand, Sri Pruthvi Teja, learned counsel representing Sri Sai Sanjay Suraneni, learned Standing Counsel for IOCL, submits that the site was originally designated as a B1 site; however, it has been converted into an A site. A fresh registered lease deed was executed in favour of IOCL in 2019, valid till 2049. In an A site, the land remains leased to the Corporation, with operations managed under IOCL’s control. Therefore, the nature of the lease has changed, and the outlet now functions as an A site retail outlet of IOCL. 3. In view of the same, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication and the same is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
