GP FOR HOME 3 The Court made the following: ORDER: The instant Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioner seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: “.... to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the inaction of the Respondent No.3 in conducting the investigation in FIR No.158 of 2024, dated 26-07-2024 without following the due process of law, as illegal, irregular, arbitrary violative of the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and offends article 14 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent No. 2 to change the investigating authority in FIR No.19 of 2017, dated 21-01-2017 and pass ...” At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent State on instructions would submit that investigation is pending for want of RFSL report and that the court may pass appropriate orders by disposing of this Writ Petition. Learned for the Petitioner would submit that recording the said submission, this Writ Petition may be disposed of. In the light of the submissions made, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Respondent Police are directed to conclude the investigation and file final report/charge sheet as expeditiously as possible, if not filed so far. No order as to costs.
