1. This is an office reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 06.11.2023, passed in MCRC No. 6494 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioner, namely, Devrup Rajwade, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment.

4. The learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ambikapur District-Surguja (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 02.08.2025 has requested for grant of six months time for concluding the trial.
5. It transpires from the perusal of the PUD that, in the present case, the evidence of the Investigating Officers as well as 16 independent witnesses are yet to be recorded. Thereafter, the statements of the accused are required to be recorded and final arguments is to be heard. Therefore, it is most humbly prayed that the time period for concluding the trial may kindly be extended accordingly."
6. The request made by the learned trial Court, is allowed, however, instead of granting six months, this Court deems it appropriate to grant further 05 months time for concluding the trial from today.
7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
8. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
