The present petition has been filed seeking following relief:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of certiorari to quash the impugned order dated 19.02.2025 passed by the respondent No.1-District Judge, Agra, whereby Rs.24,000/- per month as rent has been fixed by the appellant authority against the petitioners from the date of filing of the Rent Control Appeal No.251 of 2024 ( Umesh Kumar Sharma and others vs. Ravindra Mohan Pachori) under Section 22 of the U.P. Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972." 3. After some arguments, with the consent of parties, the order dated 19.02.2025 passed by District Judge, Agra is modified to the extent that during pendency of appeal amount of monthly rent i.e. Rs.24,000/- ( Rupees Twenty Four Thousand) is reduced to Rs.17,500/-. 4. It is made clear that except the change of amount, the Court has not interfered with the order dated 19.02.2025. 5. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of.
