GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION No.28613 of 2025 ORDER:- The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “…issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of respondent no.2 and 3 in not disposing of File No. REV-DSECOROR(AD)/ 110 /2025-SA-D2-KANDB-KDPCO within a reasonable period of time, pertains to the petitioners lands in Sy.no. 1001/2 to an extent of Ac. 1.50 Cents and Sy.no. 1001/4 to an extent of Ac. 1.50 cents situated at Chinnachowk Village, Ramanjaneyapuram, Kadapa Mandal, YSR Kadapa District and also further the respondents are trying to interfering with the petitioners possession and enjoyment of the lands in Sy.no. 1001/2 to an extent of Ac. 1.50 Cents and Sy.no.1001/4 to an extent of Ac. 1.50 cents situated at Chinnachowk Village, Ramanjaneyapuram, Kadapa Mandal, YSR Kadapa District by cutting down mango trees aged 27 years of 80 trees without following due process of law is illegal, arbitrary. Heard Sri Amanchi Royal, learned counsel for petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondent Nos.1 to 6. 3. The petitioners have approached this Court with a prayer for issuance of a direction for expeditious disposal of the appeal registered as File No:REV- DSECOROR(AD)/110/2025-SA-D2-KANDB-KDPCO, dated 16.06.2025 pending before the 3rd respondent-Joint Collector. 4. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that the appellate authority is bound to decide the case in accordance with the law expeditiously. 5. Ergo, this Court directs the 3rd respondent-appellate authority to make an endeavor, or to put to an end, by making all the efforts, in deciding the case with due diligence within a reasonable time for disposal of the appeal on merits and as per law, after hearing all the parties to the dispute, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, not beyond two (02) months from date of receipt of a copy this order. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
