GP FOR PANCHAYAT RAJ RURAL DEV (AP) The Court made the following order: Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not taking action against the illegal and unauthorized construction made by the 5th respondent in an extent of Ac.0.07 cents in Sy.No.502-2A of Podalalur village and mandal, SPSR Nellore District, the present writ petition is filed. 2. Heard Sri Sai Gangadhar Chamarthy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri M.Sudhir, learned standing counsel for the Gram Panchayat. 3. Sri M.Sudhir, learned standing counsel for the Gram Panchayat on instructions dated 18.02.2024 submitted that, pursuant to the interim order passed by this court on 29.12.2023, the authorities have sent notice to the 5th respondent asking to stop the construction and that they would take further steps in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above submission that the authorities have issued notice to the 5th respondent and they have intention to take steps in accordance with law, there is no purpose in keeping the writ petition pending. As no positive orders are being passed affecting the rights of the 5th respondent, hearing the 5th respondent does not arise. As such, this court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with the following direction: The respondent authorities are directed to take steps against the constructions made by the 5th respondent, if any contrary to law, in accordance with law.
