Order on Board 25/08/2025 1. The petitioner has filed the present writ petition claiming the following reliefs: “1. Issue an appropriate writ/order/direction to the respondent department/authorities to consider the pending representation dated 18.07.2025 (Annexure P/11), within a stipulated time frame, preferably before the retirement dated 31.08.2025, and/or 2 2. Direct the Respondent authorities to promote the Petitioner in the post of Executive Engineer, at the earliest, before his retirement dated 31.08.2025, and/or 3. Direct the Respondent authorities to extend Petitioner's period of retirement, preferably for two years, and/or 4. Direct the Respondent authorities to appoint the Petitioner contractually, in continuation of his service, with the department, and/or 5. Any other relief in favour of the Petitioner which the Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would restricted his submissions that although the State Government has passed an order on 20.06.2025 with respect to considering the seniority of the petitioner over and above Mr. Manish Sharma on the post of Executive Engineer by giving him proforma promotion but till date the order dated 20.06.2025 has not been implemented. The petitioner is going to be retired on 31.08.2025, therefore, the respondent authorities may be directed to implement the order dated 20.06.2025 before the his retirement. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondent/State though opposes on merits. However, he would submits he has no objection if such a direction is being given to the authorities concerned to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2025. He has no objection if a direction is given to the petitioner to move his 3 representation and in such eventuality the authorities may be directed to decide the representation in accordance with law. 4. Considering the limited submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of directing him to move his fresh representation within a week from today to the respondent authorities and in eventuality of filing the representation by the petitioner, the authorities concerned is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner within the further period of two weeks from the date of its receipt, keeping in view the order dated 20.06.2025 passed by the State Government (Annexure P/10), in accordance with law and applicable rules and circulars holding the field. 5.
