The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ganga Nagar, Commissionerate Prayagraj- respondent no. 2, to expedite and decide the proceedings under Section 133 Cr.P.C., which have been pending since 23.01.2023. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the lapse of considerable time, no substantial progress has been made in the matter, causing undue hardship to the applicant. Accordingly, a prayer is made for appropriate directions to ensure early disposal of the said proceedings. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without expressing any opinion on the merits, the application is disposed of with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ganga Nagar, Commissionerate Prayagraj (respondent no. 2), to consider and decide the proceedings of Case No.23 of 2023, under Section 133 Cr.P.C., Police Station Soraon, District Prayagraj, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law.
