Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 68 of 2025 arising out of Jamua P.S. Case No. 223 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 233 of 2025 for the offences registered under section 64(2)(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Giridih. 3. On 22.11.2024 at 1.00 p.m., deaf and dumb daughter of the Informant had gone to attend her paddy field. It is alleged that the petitioner finding her alone, raped her. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the victim in her statement under section 183 of the B.N.S.S. recorded through interpreter has stated that if the petitioner will marry her, she will not contest the case. 5. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
