The petition filed by the paternal grand-parents seeking appointment as guardians of minor child or to appoint any other person as guardian of the minor child enabling them to look after welfare of the minor child under Section15 of Guardian and Wards Act was dismissed by the learned Principal District Judge at West Godavari, Eluru. Aggrieved by the same, the present appeal was preferred by the paternal grand-parents.
2. Request has been made on behalf of learned counsel for the appellants for adjournment.
3. During pendency of the appeal, the minor child attained majority.
4. In view of the aforesaid we are not granting adjournment.
5. Since the minor children now attained majority, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed as infructuous.
No order as to costs.
