The petitioner has filed this writ petition on the following relief: “10.1. That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be 2 pleased to strict direction to the respondent authorities to consider the claim representation of the petitioner for allotment of home/flat at the earliest, in the interest of justice. 10.2 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to finish departmental enquiry and to also consider the case of the petitioner and to grant promotion and other service benefit, in the interest of justice. 10.3 Any other relief, which the Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be granted in favour of the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by way of this petition, the petitioner is not challenging any particular order on the part of the respondent authorities but the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent authorities to consider the representation for allotment of the house/flat for the purpose of residential house according to information notice dated 15.07.2025 at the earliest. 3. Learned State Counsel opposed the submission made by the counsel for the petitioner. 4. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties and perused the 3 record with utmost circumspection. 5. Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, submissions of the counsels, respondent no. 4 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 04.06.2025 and 19.06.2025 (Annexure P/1) expeditiously, as soon as possible, in accordance with law, rules and regulations. 6. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of. 7. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the case.
