Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for quashing of order dated 04.03.2025 (P-1) passed by learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Chandigarh vide which petitioner was declared proclaimed offender in FIR No. 140 dated 15.10.2021, under Sections 307, 147, 148 read with Section 149 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station, Sector-11 (West), Chandigarh. (2) After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to accept the prayer, learned counsel for petitioner, on instructions, wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to surrender before the Court of competent jurisdiction. (3) Disposed off with aforesaid liberty. (4) In case, petitioner surrenders before the Court concerned within four weeks from today and moves an application for bail, the same be considered and decided expeditiously, in accordance with law.
