ORAL ORDER
1. In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs: a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction, directing the respondents to forthwith provide an employment to the petitioner on compassionate grounds in lieu of death of her husband in any one of the suitable post retrospectively from the date of her application,

granting all the consequential benefits, to meet the ends of justice, b) Issue any such orders as this Hon’ble Court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case, to meet the ends of justice.
2. The case of the petitioner is that her husband, Late Anand Kumar was working as a Meter Reader in BESCOM, Malur Division, Kolar. While he was in service, he died on
11.05.2021. Thereafter, the petitioner, who is the wife of the deceased Anand Kumar, submitted a representation on 05.10.2021 at Annexure-F seeking appointment on compassionate ground. Since the respondents have not considered the representation of the petitioner, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that if this Court grants some reasonable time, the representation of the petitioner at Annexure-F will be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of.
5. Respondent No.3 is
directed to consider the representation dated 05.10.2021 submitted by the petitioner vide Annexure-F, in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
