Case No. 05 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 17, 18 & 29 of NDPS Act, pending in the court of learned Special Judge, NDPS Act, Latehar. On 21.01.2025 at about 11:00 a.m., Herhanj Police on the basis of confidential information that poppy was cultivated in village Mari, Tola- Pandram, destructed the poppy cultivation. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has come on the basis of statement given by local persons, whose names have not been disclosed by the prosecution. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, NDPS Act, Latehar, in connection with Herhanj P.S.
