The petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the following reliefs:- SAGRIKA AGRAWAL Digitally signed by SAGRIKA AGRAWAL Date: 2025.08.26 18:00:55 +0530 2 10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court be pleased to call for entire records from the Respondents for its kind perusal and to decide the instant writ petition. 10.2 That, the Hon’ble Court be pleased to pass an order, directing the official respondents to consider the compassionate ground appointment to petitioner’s son Anshdeep Singh in clerical post in State Bank of India as per SBI Revised Scheme for Compassionate Appointment dated 16.03.2021 (Annexure-P/7) at the earliest in the interest of justice. 10.3 Any other order or directions deem fit and proper may also be granted in the interest of justice. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would restricted his submission that the husband of the petitioner namely Sahilesh Kumar Singh was an employee of the Respondent/ Bank who died in harness on 01.07.2020. After his death, the petitioner has moved an application for compassionate appointment in place of deceased employee on 22.10.2020 and he also made his reminder representation on 23.04.2021, but till date the concerned authority cannot consider his application for grant of compassionate appointment and therefore, they may be directed to take decision on the application made by the petitioner on 22.10.2020 and reminder application dated 23.04.2021 within the stipulated time frame in accordance with law. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the Respondent/ Bank would submit that he has no objection if such a direction is being given to the authority concerned to take the decision on the application made by the petitioner on 22.10.2020 and reminder application dated 23.04.2021 within the stipulated time frame in accordance with law. 3 4. Considering the restricted submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 2 & 3 to take a decision on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 22.10.2020 and 23.04.2021 (Annexure- P/5 & P/6) respectively in accordance with law on its own merits as per the existing policy of the respondent/ Bank within 90 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 5. The petitioner is directed to produce the copy of this order to the Respondent No. 2 & 3 within two weeks from today. 6. With the aforesaid observation, the present writ petition is disposed of.
