The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Thirthalli Taluk, Thirthalli, Shimogga, to issue the Saguvali Chit/Grant Certificate and enter the name of the petitioner in mutation register and RTC to the extent of 36 guntas of land in Sy.No.42 of Shirupathi Village, Kasaba Hobli, Thirthahalli Taluk as per the Grant Order dated - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:38231 WP No. 11382 of 2025 03.03.2022 at Annexure-D. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Committee for regularization of unauthorised occupation had considered the application filed by the petitioner and granted 36 guntas of land to the petitioner in Sy.No.42 of Shirupathi Village, Kasaba Hobli, Thirthahalli Taluk as per the Grant Order dated 03.03.2022. However, neither premium is collected from the petitioner nor Saguvali Chit has been issued to the petitioner. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Thirthalli Taluk, Thirthalli, Shimogga, to verify the records and if it is found that the Committee has passed an order granting 36 guntas of land in Sy.No.42 of Shirupathi Village, Kasaba Hobli in favour of the petitioner, then the Tahsildar shall pass necessary orders to collect the premium from the petitioner, issue Saguvali Chit and thereafter proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:38231 WP No. 11382 of 2025 possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
