The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gonda P.S. Case No. 118 of 2024, for the offence under Section 70(2) of the B.N.S and Sections 4 & 8 of POCSO Act, pending in the court of Sri B.K. Shrivastava, learned AJC-IV- cum-Special Judge, POCSO, Ranchi. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 816/2025, by order dated 12.02.2025. On 15.07.2024 at about 6.00 p.m., victim was raped by the petitioner Mickey Kumar Prajapati and two unknown persons. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the statement of the victim has been recorded during trial, in which, she has supported the prosecution case.
