The petitioners have been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No.178 of 2025 arising out of Manika P.S. Case No. 64 of 2012, for the offences registered under Sections 302/34 of the I.P.C. and Sections 3 & 4 of the Witchcraft Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Latehar. On 18.08.2012, petitioners and co-accused persons are alleged to have assaulted the father of the informant. There is specific allegation against co-accused namely Bajrangi Bhuiyan, Raj Mohan Bhuiyan and Suresh Bhuiyan that they had inflicted several lathi blows to the father of the informant. They are also alleged to have taken the father of the informant in order to bury him. When they found that he was still alive, co- accused Raj Mohan Bhuiyan hacked him to death by a stone. It was submitted that there is general allegation against the petitioners. It was further submitted that petitioners are ladies. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Latehar, in connection with S.T. Case No.178 of 2025 arising out of Manika P.S. Case No. 64 of 2012. (Ambuj Nath, J.) December 16, 2025 Jay/-
