The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Basisthnagar PS Case No.66 of 2025, for offence registered under section 274, 275, 317(5), 336(3), 336(4), 338, 340, 3(5) of BNS, 2023 and section 47(a) of Excise Act, pending in court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that allegations are made that Scorpio with foreign liquor was found on the said vehicle and Pappu Bhuiyan was apprehended along with scorpio vehicle. He further submits that Munna Dangi was also on the said vehicle who fled away and Pappu Buhiyan has taken name of the petitioner. He next submits that the petitioner has nothing to do with the said liquor and the said vehicle and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.13 4. Learned State counsel appearing through V.C. opposes prayer and submits that name of petitioner has come on confessional statement of coaccused. 5. Considering that name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement of coaccused and it has been pointed out that the petitioner has nothing to do with the said liquor and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as aforesaid, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra, in connection with Basisthnagar PS Case No.66 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
