JUSTICE ASHOK S.KINAGI ORAL ORDER Respondent No.1 has filed a memo contending that the petitioner has challenged the revised provisional selection list dated 12.03.2025, final selection list dated 19.03.2025, the recruitment notifications dated 08.05.2024 and 12.06.2024 and to cancel the negative marking of 1/3rd marks imposed for the examination conducted on 18.02.2024. 2. It is stated that the said examination which is held on 18.02.2024 was under challenge before this Court in WP.No.16517/2024 and WP.No.14233/2024 which came to be dismissed vide orders dated 10.07.2024 and 12.06.2024 respectively. The orders passed by the Writ Court are challenged in Writ Appeal No.1298/2024 and connected matters. The said Writ Appeals were disposed of vide common order dated 28.05.2025, thereby quashing the provisional and final selection list canceling the examination held on 18.02.2024 and directing the KPCL to conduct a fresh examination. The said order was challenged in SLP No.21754/2025. The Hon'ble Apex Court dismissed the said - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:48860 WP No. 32502 of 2024 SLP vide order dated 23.09.2025 and directed the respondent to conduct re-examination within four months from the date of the order passed by the Hon'ble Apex Court. 3. In view of orders passed by the Hon'ble Apex Court, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition. Pursuant to the direction issued, the respondent No.1 is holding fresh examination as per the Notification dated 19.11.2025. 4. Memo is taken on record. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructous. 6. Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to make representation to the respondent-KPCL for rectification of caste from Category II A to Category III B.
