The matter is taken up in National Lok Adalat
1. Mr. Suraj Singh, learned counsel along with appellants/claimants and Mr. Alok Lal, learned counsel for the Insurance Company and Ms. Poonam Tete, Deputy Manager, United India Insurance Company Ltd. are present before us. 2. It has been pointed out to us, that the matter has amicably been settled between the parties. Claimants/respondents have already received about Rs. 34,00,000/- (Thirty four lakhs) from the Tribunal. It has been agreed between both the sides that the remaining amount of Rs. 34,09,625/- (Thirty four lakhs nine thousand six hundred twenty five only) as deposited by Insurance Company kept lying before the concerned Tribunal, and the claimant is at liberty to take the same from the concerned Tribunal. 3. It has further been agreed between both the sides that out of Rs. 34,09,625/- (Thirty four lakhs nine thousand six hundred twenty five only), Rs. 5 lakhs will be deposited in the respective accounts of all the five claimants for creating Fixed Deposit (F.D.) of Rs. 5 lakhs for each claimant and in case of need of money, the concerned claimant shall have to approach the Tribunal to obtain permission for withdrawal of the amount. 2025:JHHC:37515
4. It has further been agreed between both the sides that remaining amount of Rs. 9,09,625/-(Nine lakhs nine thousand six hundred twenty five only) shall have to be deposited in the Savings Bank account of Paulina Kisku wife of late Somnath Murmu. 5. The claimant(s) shall provide the bank account(s) to the concerned Tribunal for the needful. 6. As far as statutory amount is concerned, learned Registrar General is expected to release the same in favour of the Insurance Company as the matter has amicably been settled between the parties. 7.
