The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chainpur P.S. Case No. 260 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No.2335 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 454 and 380 of the I.P.C., pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Palamau. In the night of 09.10.2023, theft was committed in the house of the informant. Unknown thieves took away jewelleries and other articles from there. It was submitted that some of the stolen jewelleries are alleged to have recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that petitioner is in custody for about two years. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Palamau, in connection with Chainpur P.S.
