Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Ichak P.S. Case No. 149/2024, for the offence under sections 20/21(b)/22(b)/25/29 of NDPS Act, 1985, pending in the court of Learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, NDPS Act, Hazaribag. On 27.11.2024 at about 11:30 noon, Ichak police apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused Sachin Kumar Ram and on search, 62 grams of brown sugar and 100 grams of cannabis were recovered from their joint possession. It was submitted that the quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at paragraph 15 of this bail application. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, NDPS Act, Hazaribag in connection with Ichak P.S.
