Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Rajmahal P.S. Case No. 174 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 309(4), 115(2) & 351(2) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Rajmahal.
On 04.06.2025, robbery was committed in the shop of the informant. The miscreants looted jewelries from there.
It was submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R. nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has come in the confession of co-accused. It was also submitted that silver like neckless is alleged to have been recovered from the house of maternal uncle of the petitioner but the same has not been put on T.I. Parade. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Rajmahal, in connection with Rajmahal P.S. Case No. 174 of 2025.
