The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 140/2023 arising out of Arki P.S. Case No. 16/2023 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 273/2023, for the offences registered under Sections 302, 201, 34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-II, Khunti. 3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 2809 of 2024 by order dated 02.05.2024. 4. On 13.03.2023, at about 3:30 P.M., a mutilated dead body of an unknown person was found in the forest near Rokab Pahan Toli. During the course of investigation, petitioner was apprehended and, on his confession, a bloodstained axe was recovered from the place behind the house of Sambray Munda @ Mangra Munda. 5. It was submitted that four witnesses have been examined, but they had not supported the prosecution case. 6. Considering the fact that a bloodstained axe was recovered on the basis of the confession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
