GP FOR SERVICES II 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION No.31611 of 2025 ORDER: The present writ petition is filed aggrieved by the inaction of respondents in not promoting the petitioner from the post of Trained Graduate Teacher in Science (TGT) to the post of Post Graduate Teacher-Bio Science (PGT) in terms of the seniority list, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The petitioner was appointed as Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) on 10.01.2020, and her probation was declared on 11.01.2022. The 2nd respondent prepared a provisional seniority list in Zone–IV in respect of the Science subject, wherein the petitioner was shown at Sl.No.4. Subsequently, the 2nd respondent issued a memo vide Rc.No.Estt/182/DPC/JL/2023, dated 11.01.2024, calling for reports from the Principals of MJPAPBCWR Institutions regarding Trained Graduate Teachers, directing them to submit their Post- Graduation Original Degree-cum-Pass Certificates duly attested, for considering their cases for promotion to the post of Post Graduate Teacher (Zonal-wise). 3. The petitioner completed her Post Graduation in Science and was issued Pass Memo/Provisional Certificate on 30.03.2024. She made representations on 06.04.2024, 19.06.2024, 14.07.2024, 15.07.2024, 24.06.2025, 25.08.2025 and 04.11.2025, requesting consideration of her case 4 for promotion on par with her juniors. However, no action has been taken by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition is filed. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-II, would submit that the representations made by the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed as expeditiously as possible. 5. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representations made by the petitioner, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
