GP FOR HOME 3 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioners seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: “ .... to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 3 and 4 to take necessary action/steps to protect my life and life of the 2nd petitioner from the hands of the respondents 5 to 18 and direct the respondents 3 & 4 to take necessary preventive steps to protect our lives as the acts of them are violation of Art.21 of the Constitution of India and to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to take appropriate action against the 5th respondent and others who are involved in Crime No.196/2022 registered at 4th respondent as we are the victims in such crime and pass ....” Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent State. Perused the material on record. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Police on written instructions would submit that on the complaint of the Petitioners, respondent Police called respondents 5 to 18 and in the presence of the Petitioners, they have done counselling and in the counselling, respondents 5 to 18 assured that they do not involve in the affairs of the Petitioners. As per the assurance, petitioners have no life threat on their marital life and would submit that this writ petition may be disposed of by passing appropriate orders. Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that recording the said submission, this Writ Petition may be disposed of. 4 In that view, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
