Civil Judge (Jr.Dn.) and JMFC at Ramanagara District, Ramanagara, which is registered for the offence punishable under Section 498A, 323, 324, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34393 CRL.P No. 11176 of 2025 2. This petition is preferred under Section 407 of Cr.P.C. to transfer the criminal case, pending before the Prl. Civil Judge (Jr.Dn.) and JMFC at Ramanagara District, Ramanagara to the Family Court at Mysuru. 3. FIR was registered against the petitioner and two others, on a complaint lodged by respondent No.2 namely, the wife of petitioner/accused No.1. Insofar as accused Nos.2 and 3 namely the parents of petitioner/accused No.1 are concerned, this Court in Crl.P.No.1145/2021 has quashed the proceedings against them, vide order dated 08.06.2021. 4. Transfer of the case from Ramanagara Court to Mysuru is sought on the ground that respondent No.2 has filed the petition seeking maintenance in Crl.Misc.No.1082/2022 before the 3rd Addl. Prl. Judge, Family Court at Mysuru and therefore, both the cases can be decided together. The grounds urged for transferring the case cannot be accepted. The incident is of the year 2017-2018. The case is pending before the Trial Court since 2018. Since it is submitted that the matter is posted for arguments and not decided so far, the Trial Court (Prl. Civil Judge (Jr.Dn.) and JMFC at Ramanagara District, Ramanagara) is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and shall make all endeavours to dispose of the case as far within a period of four months from today. 6.
