1. By the present petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities to make payment of outstanding payment of Rs.3,80,49,300/- in his favour.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that pursuant to the orders of the respondent authorities he arranged tent, light, sound system, decoration, etc. in different Government programms in the year 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22. The said works have duly been verified and certified by the respondents No.6 & 7 and despite the said fact that outstanding dues have not been released and on account of said action he is facing hefty financial difficulties.

At this juncture, learned counsel appearing for the State would submit that the respondent No.2 Engineer-in-Chief, Department of Public Works shall look into the grievance of the petitioner and verify whether the work allotted to the petitioner has been completed or not and if the work done by the petitioner and the claim made by him is undisputed, the outstanding dues may be released.
4. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the documents.
5. Considering the submission made by the parties, the respondent No.2 Engineer-in-Chief, Department of Public Works is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and verify whether the work allotted to the petitioner has been completed or not and if the work has been
3 completed and the claim made by him is undisputed, the outstanding dues be released, in accordance with law, at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from today.
6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
