The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Manatu P.S. Case No. 39 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 341, 323, 325, 307, 353, 379, 504, 506 & 34 of the I.P.C. and Section 33, 41 & 42 of the Indian Forest Act, pending in the Court of Smt. Sonam Vishnoi, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Palamau. 3. On 06.09.2023, the informant party, on the basis of confidential information that illegal trees were being felled in Chapi Forest Area, raided the place of occurrence. It is alleged that the informant party found several logs loaded on a pick-up van. On seeing the informant party, the accused persons assaulted them and decamped away with the pick-up van loaded with logs. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 07.07.2025. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court as well as by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court earlier. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Smt.
