Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the minor grand daughter of the petitioner left home on 03.07.2024 at around 09.30 am for going school but did not return back and thereafter cannot be traced. He further submits that thereafter an FIR has been lodged with crime No. 507/2024 for offence punishable under Section 137(2) of the BNS but till date the minor grand- daughter of the petitioner has not been traced and the investigation has also not been concluded. 3. Learned State counsel submits that despite frantic efforts of the department the minor girl could not be find. He further submits that there was suspicion upon two persons and their mobile numbers were also tracked but no fruitful result could be obtained. 4. We have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5. Considering the fact that minor girl is missing from 03.07.2024 and FIR has been lodged with crime No. 507/2024, the concerned Superintendent of Police is directed to ensure that the investigation of the present case is concluded within 8 weeks along with recovery of the minor grand daughter of the petitioner. 6.
