The basic relief sought by the petitioner in the present petition is to direct the respondent authority to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 04.12.2024 and further direct the respondent authority to decide the application dated 22.05.2023 regarding fire arms license which is pending since 22.05.2023. 3. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that though a considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, present petition is disposed of directing the respondent authority to decide the application dated 22.05.2023 strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
