MOHAPATRA JUSTICE CHITTARANJAN DASH ORDER Order No. 06.01.2026 07. 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. 2. None appears for the Petitioner at the time of call. 3. When the matter was called in the first hour, none was present on behalf of the Petitioner. However, Mr. Behura, learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that the Petitioner has already been paid land acquisition compensation. Hence, the Writ Petition has become infructuous. He, however, submitted that the matter may be called after recess so that documents in support of his submissions can be produced. When the matter was called after lunch interval, once again the Petitioner remained unrepresented. 4. The documents relating to payment of compensation to the Petitioner are filed in Court and taken on record. The documents so filed reveal that the Superintending Engineer, Jajpur Irrigation Division, Jajpur vide his letter dated 23.10.2025 communicated the Additional Chief Engineer, Eastern Circle-II, Chandikhole that the compensation amount of Rs.2,38,053/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Thirty Eight Thousand Fifty Three only) vide cheque No. No.146007 dated 23.10.2025 and Rs.1,07,508/- (Rupees One Lakh Seven Thousand Five Hundred Eight only) vide cheque No.146008 dated 23.10.2025 respectfully have been paid to the beneficiaries on 23.10.2025. Documents transferring the amount are also enclosed to the copy of the said letter vide Annexure-III. Thus, the prayer made in the Writ Petition has already been granted and no further order is required to be passed in this case. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. (K.R.
