The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jaldega (Bansjor O.P.) P.S. Case No. 56 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (NDPS), Simdega. On 21.08.2025, Jaldega Police apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused persons while they were travelling on Royal Rinki Bus near Khammantand check-post. On search, about 12 kgs. of cannabis were recovered from their joint possession. It was submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It was finally submitted that co- accused namely Amit Kumar has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.9206 of 2025. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (NDPS), Simdega, in connection with Jaldega (Bansjor O.P.)
