GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 22255 of 2023 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a Writ or order more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ declaring the action of the respondent Police i.e., Respondents Nos. 4 and 5 in interfering with the personal liberty as well as into the house of the petitioner and threatening the petitioner with dire consequences to settle the civil disputes relating to the brother of the petitioner and the 6th respondent herein as illegal, arbitrary, unjustified, against the principles of natural justice and in violation of Article 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and for a consequential relief of a specific direction to the official respondents not to interfere with the personal liberty as well as the House Property of the petitioner in whatsoever manner with regard to the civil disputes between the brother of the petitioner and the 6th respondent.…” 2. Heard Sri G.M.Swamulu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent- police are interfering with the civil disputes between the petitioner and the unofficial respondent and threatening her to settle the civil disputes. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that basing on the petition made by the 6th respondent through Spandana program, the petitioner was called to the police 4 station by the respondent No.4 for enquiry and no crime has been registered against the petitioner since the subject matter is civil in nature. 5. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the petitioner and the unofficial respondent, except under due process of law. No order as to costs.
