Vide order dated 06.9.2024 passed by this Court in WP(S) No.5182/2024, transfer of applicant from the post of Chief Municipal 2 Officer at Nagar Panchayat Lailunga to original post Assistant Grade-II at Nagar Panchayat, Kharsiya was stayed. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent would submit that though respondent was successor of applicant, as such, he had joined on 23.8.2024 prior to aforesaid stay order, but after stay order dated 06.9.2024, he had handed over the charge of Chief Municipal Officer, Nagar Panchayat Lailunga on 13.9.2024, as has been mentioned in his reply. 5. Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the applicant is still working at Nagar Panchayat, Lailunga. She has been suspended because of some financial irregularities. 6. Perusal of aforesaid fact shows that applicant is still working at Nagar Panchayat Lailunga. Though she has been suspended due to other count, no case of contempt is made out against the respondent. 7. Accordingly, the contempt proceeding is dropped.
