ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following reliefs:
“(i) Issue writ in the nature of mandamus. (ii) Issue direction to the respondent Nos.1 to 5 to take immediate corrective measures to issue the No Due Certificate (NDC) to the Accountant General, thereby facilitating the release of DCRG amount of petitioner without further delay.

(iii) Issue direction to the respondent Nos.1 to 5 to hold liable for the delay of DCRG amount for the past 2 years and give compound interest from the date of retirement to withhold DCRG amount and other such reliefs in the interest of justice and equity.”

The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Assistant Engineer in Bangalore Development Authority (‘BDA’ for short), in the year 2013, he was promoted as an Assistant Executive engineer and transferred to State Highway Development Project, Bangalore and he attained the age of superannuation on 31.05.2022. Thereafter, his DCRG amount has not been settled since the BDA has not issued the ‘No Due Certificate’ (NDC). Hence, the petitioner submitted representations dated 15.12.2023 and 18.12.2023 vide Annexures D, E, F and G to the BDA. Since no action has been taken pursuant to the representations, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Sri K.Krishna, the learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2 submitted that, if this Court

grants some reasonable time, the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 15.12.2023 will be considered in accordance with law.
4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, respondent Nos. 1 and 2 are directed to consider the representations dated 15.12.2023, made by the petitioner vide Annexures D and E and consider the same, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than two months from date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observations, the writ petition stands
disposed of.
