Petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 09 of 2025 arising out of Namkum P.S. Case No. 270 of 2024(N) for the offences registered under sections 338/336(3)/340(1)/61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and section 15(C)/18(b)/22(c)/25/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned A.J.C-V, Ranchi. 3. On 13.07.2024 at about 11.05 a.m., Namkum Police, Ranchi intercepted a container bearing registration no. HR 38S 4743 from a place near Punjabi Dhaba at Ranchi-Tata Road. On search, 4018.00 kgs. of poppy husk was recovered from the said vehicle. Petitioner is alleged to be the driver of the said vehicle. 4. The quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of commercial quantity. 5. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
