2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Barhi P.S. Case No. 529 of 2021 for the offences registered under section 394 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Hazaribag.
3. On 20.12.2021 at about 4.00 p.m., Informant was waylaid by three unknown persons near Nawadih river bridge. Accused persons looted Rs. 1.55 lakhs and other valuables from him.
4. It was submitted that the petitioner is neither named in the FIR, nor he was put on T.I.P. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and co-accused Rajesh Kumar Mehta has been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide B.A. No. 6077 of 2022 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing.
5. Mr. Sardhy Mahto, learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail.
6. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is
directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Hazaribag in connection with Barhi P.S. Case No. 529 of 2021.
