Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 195 of 2025 arising out of Piparwar P.S. Case No. 25 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 190, 191(2), 191(3), 109, 308(3), 308(4) of the B.N.S., 2023, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 17(i)(ii) of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Chatra.

On 06.07.2024 at about 8.30 am, the informant received information that unknown miscreants have fired near a hotel to enforce the demand of rangdari.

It was submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in the confession of co-accused. It was further submitted that several similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court.

Mr. Rajesh Kumar, learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent.

Considering the fact that there is no cogent material available on record against the petitioner in the present case, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Chatra, in connection with S.T. No. 195 of 2025 arising out of Piparwar P.S. Case No. 25 of 2024.
