1. Heard Sri. Shyam Kumar S.U., learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. Petition under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure is filed with the following prayer :
" Therefore, it is respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to withdraw the O.S. NO. 200/2024 pending on the file of the Senior Civil Judge and JMFC Chintamani and transfer the same to the court of Family Judge at Bengaluru, by allowing this Petition, in the interest of Justice and equity.

3. Wife is the petitioner seeking transfer of pending matrimonial proceedings in O.S.No.200/2024 from Chintamani to Family Court, Bangalore.
4. Reason assigned by the petitioner is that she is a student and having a daughter and resident of K.R. Puram and unable to visit Chintamani to effectively participate in the pending suit in O.S.No.200/2024.
5. It is also contended that maintenance amount is not paid by the respondent.
6. If the maintenance amount is sought for in the pending proceedings by filing necessary application, the concerned Judge will definitely entertain the said application in accordance with law and award suitable compensation to the wife. The same is not a reason for seeking transfer of the pending suit.
7. Further, having regard to the huge pendency in Family Courts at Bangalore, the pending case would be

HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:39826 CP No. 174 of 2025 decided early before the Civil Judge and JMFC at Chintamani, which is beneficial to both the parties.
8. Further, traveling from K.R. Puram to Family Court at Bangalore is lot more cumbersome than reaching Chintamani from K.R. Puram. Petitioner can also avail the facility of video conferencing.
9. Accordingly, the grounds urged in the petition are not sufficient to allow the petition.
