Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pratappur P.S. Case No. 80 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 70(2), 137(2) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 4 of the POCSO Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act, Chatra. 3. Bail application of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 8570 of 2024 by order dated 15.01.2025. 4. It is alleged that the victim was taken to the nearby forest by two accused persons with the intention to sexually assault her, however the victim became unconscious. The petitioner and co-accused took her to hospital. 5. It was submitted that co-accused Subham Kumar @ Subham Kumar Ram has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No. 7262 of 2025 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. It was further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since for a year. 6. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act, Chatra, in connection with Pratappur P.S.
