Case No. 07 of 2025 corresponding to Vigilance Case No. 07 of 2025, registered for the offence under Section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018, pending in the court of learned Special Judge (ACB), Palamau at Daltonganj. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was apprehended with a tainted money of Rs. 12,000/-. He submits that false allegations are made, as the petitioner was working as Halka Karamchari in Ramkanda Block. He next submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.08.2025 and chargesheet has already been submitted. He then submits that petitioner will not tamper with the evidence, if he is allowed bail. 3. Mrs. Nehala Sharmin, learned Spl.P.P. appearing for the ACB through V.C. has opposed the prayer and submits that Rs. 12,000/- has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 4. Considering that the petitioner is in custody since 22.08.2025 and chargesheet has already been submitted and there is no likelihood that the petitioner will tamper any evidence, I am inclined to [2025:JHHC:33213] -2- release the petitioner, on regular bail. 5. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on regular bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (ACB), Palamau at Daltonganj, in connection with A.C.B.
