2. The husband of the petitioner died in harness on
04.08.2019. He was the Constable in the district of Deoghar.
3. The petitioner being the wife of the deceased employee has filed an application for granting of compassionate appointment but the same is still pending.
4. Considering the submission of the petitioner, I direct the Superintendent of Police, Deoghar to take a decision on granting of the compassionate appointment to the petitioner, if she is legally entitled to. Decision should be taken within a period of eight weeks from the receipt of the copy of this order and if the order passed is in favour of the petitioner consequential order be passed to enable the petitioner to join the service.
5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
