The petitioner is dissatisfied with the investigation conducted by the 5th respondent. Hence, she has approached this Court with a prayer to hand over the investigation of Crime No.1420/2024 of Parassala Police Station to an officer not below the rank of DYSP or to the Crime Branch wing of the Kerala Police. 2. I have heard Sri. S. Krishna, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri. M.P. Prasanth the learned Public Prosecutor. 3. Having heard both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DYSP), Neyyattinkara to supervise the investigation. After the investigation, the 3rd respondent shall submit a 2025:KER:26571 W.P.(CRL) NO.270 OF 2025 4 draft final report before the DYSP. Only after getting his approval, it shall be filed before the jurisdictional Magistrate. The 3rd respondent is directed to communicate this judgment to the DYSP, Neyyattinkara. Sd/- DR.
