A case has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offence punishable under Section 8(c), read with 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, 'ls that on ll.10.2024, at about ll.45 a.m, the Sub Inspector of Police, Prakash Nagar PoI-Ice Station, received credible information about illegal transportation of Ganja and rushed to the spot and apprehended Al to A6 and found 21.05 Kgs of Ganja in their possession. The contraband was seized under cover of a mediators report and the Al to A6 were arrested. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that major part of the investigation is completed and charge sheet could not be filed for want of 'lnventory. 6. On a perusal of the material on record goes to show that quantity Of contraband allegedly seized from Al to A6 is 21.05 Kgs of ganja. The petitioner has been languishing in jail since ll.10.2024. According to the h_\sezsEiBQsfl learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, there are no antecedents with regard to Jj Petitioner inVOIvl-ng any other cases relating to NDPS Act. 7. In view of the aforesal'd facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to grant bal'I to the petitioner/A6, on the following conditions. (i) The petitioner herel'n/A6 sha" be released on his executing a Personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the II Additional Judicial MagI'Strate Of First class, Rajamahendravaram. (ii) On release, the petitioner shall appear before the station House Officer concerned once in a week i.e. on every sunday between 10,00 a.m. and 05.00 p.m., tI'Il filing of the charge sheet. 8.
